Imagination

I love to see imagination in the making.  It is soooo much fun to relive childhood pretend and play all over again. It does keep you young.  The most fun we've had the last few days is playing with all the toys and gifts E-man got for his birthday.  We have been playing tee-ball outside, golf, and trains and trucks inside.  Monster trucks are his all time favorite - and it's fun to listen to all he has to say. "He lost a tire mom!" "Mohawk is doing a wheelie!" It is precious.

We got a "pass along" gift that I was excited about.  I had been looking and looking and looking for GI Joe.  Not the new GI Joe that went with the latest movie.  I am talking old school GI Joe.  Remember him?  He had what we call Velcro hair.  Well...my precious, precious nephew, who is graduating from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in three weeks, was cleaning out his old toys (ok, my sister was doing the clean-out ;)) and gave E-man his GI Joes.

What a hit! E has been playing with the guys and talking to them, they talk to each other and it's just fun to listen to all he has to say as he's playing.  There's some monster truck talk weaved in the conversation and it's hysterical at times.  But, with several GI Joes, they ALL can't have the same name. So, E-man named them.  Here they are for you to meet.

Hans

Victor

GI Joe

Gold Fish Guy

Diet 7-Up Guy

I love all the names!! Tough names for tough looking men.

No news on the adoption front.  April came and went.  Hopeful May is our month.  And if not May, then June.  We are adapting to this waiting game...not fun, but we trust in the Lord and lean on him.

What fun for E man...ha ha ha would love to hear his chatter as he plays.

God is so good all of the time. These guys can help him in ways other toys don't. Pass along the fun stuff.
