Well....here's hoping the fingerprinting appointment papers come in the mail on Monday! STILL not here...we actually got a package delivered via the postal service, but no mail. That is weird to begin with so I have to wonder if they forgot to leave the mail in the box today and just put the box at the door.
And...I know that this must be a test of my patience. Well, it's being tested alright. So much for having my plans laid out for next week. Looks like we will be flying by the seat of our pants. We may be leaving Monday afternoon at the last minute to drive to Jax. Who knows.
What happens if we don't get the paperwork? I have to email my new best friend at USCIS and ask her to PLEASE reschedule us. She and I emailed Friday...so she's aware of the situation. I hope we don't have to reschedule. I really, really hope.
Something that is really weird too and totally off subject...I have serious cravings for spicy food. Like Indian food. Chicken Curry specifically. And I have tried to satisfy that craving with Mexican food...jalapenos...but it isn't working. It's the spice combination of Indian food I want. I felt different things when we were waiting for Ethan, but this is really strange to me. Never having been pregnant before I don't know what pregnant cravings feel like. But this...this is new to me. This must be what pregnant cravings feel like. I said something to Will a couple of days ago {he's sick of listening to me say I want chicken curry} and he said, 'sounds like your pregnant'. Well...in a way, we still are. With Ethan, we got to experience child birth - from a different perspective. With Baby T, I guess I get to experience cravings and tiredness.
The Lord is good. He is merciful. He is gracious. He is allowing me to 'feel pregnant' in strange ways. I will take it....however weird it is. I feel as if it is something that allows me to bond with my boys just as a mother bonds to her baby during the 9 months of pregnancy.
Oh, and if you happen to have a good, authentic recipe for chicken curry, will you please email it to me?
