But we help any way we can when there is a need. I had recently bought an adoption awareness t-shirt from a family who is bringing their little one home from Korea. This is the t-shirt:
I received my shirt oh, sometime around the end of June I think. I got it and it was the wrong size, so I emailed the family asking if I could exchange it, etc..etc.. and I struck up an email conversation and we talked about our adoptions. Then we got our referral. I forgot to mail back the t-shirt, and so I emailed again apologizing for not sending it sooner and I mentioned that we received our referral. The mom was sooooo excited for us! She shared in our excitement and prayed for us and it was just awesome.
I finally sent the t-shirt back and then after we arrived home from visiting family and got the mail {which was like Christmas here for baby T!} the package with my shirt was among all the boxes we received. I opened the box to find the correct size shirt, and there, wrapped in blue tissue paper with a note attached that said, 'Congratulations on your new son' and inside was this (the blue one):
I cried. God's love in action...and it is a beautiful thing.
I am also thankful for the outpouring of love for baby T! He has received many gifts already!! He is so loved by family and friends...and they haven't even met him! He will melt your heart when you see him...We are blessed. The wait...is worth it. I have always said it isn't easy at times, but it is worth it. All the hurdles, all the paperwork, all the waiting, the frustration...it's worth every thing. And God gives good gifts. We have seen what he does. And we are thankful. And my heart is full. I am humbled that God chose me to be a momma to these two beautiful boys.
