"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
Today is a new day! The Lord has given us a peaceful nights rest...and we begin a new day today in Him! We praise Him for the abundant blessings He has bestowed on us, and we ask that He gives food and shelter to those that have none.
We said good-bye to our Kenyan boys this morning...and promise to see them again - next time we will see them WE will be in Kenya. It was a sad "good-bye" - we are forever changed by these children and they are forever changed by us. The thank you cards are amazing - they love that the boys have is astounding. The boys even called me "mum".
As we look at and reflect back on our experiences with these African children, we are reminded that God gave us this opportunity for a reason. And so as we said in the first post, the adoption journey begins again.
We continue to pray about our second child. The Lord is good - He will provide our every need...we are trusting it God for His direction...and that if it is His Will, He will give us the desires of our heart.
