Almost Ready!

We are getting the kiddo settled in with Grandpa and Grandma and Uncle, Aunt and Cousins.  Whew! The transition has been a little challenging...so I ask that you please remember my parents and E-man in your prayers.  I am sure tomorrow will be better....everyone is getting along GREAT - just a lot of excitement, over-stimulation, and excitement on E's part.  He is sooooo excited to be here - the expression on his face and his non-stop running with excitement when his cousins came over today was priceless.  He has been looking forward to this day for months now and you could see he was about to burst with excitement!! The kids had a great time...it was like no time had passed since they were last together.  It was awesome!!

My niece, who is a sweet 5 year old, asked me a hard question.  A question I wasn't expecting from a 5 year old.  She asked me, ' Why isn't Baby T's mommy taking care of him?' WOW.  I didn't see that one coming!  So I sat down with her, in my lap, and I told her, in the best age appropriate way that I could, that she wanted to give him what she isn't able to give him.  That she wanted only the best for him...that she was thinking about him. That she loves him so much.  It was a deep conversation. I am glad we had it....there were some other questions sprinkled through our conversation that I answered. I am glad we had this conversation....she is very sensitive and very concerned....I can't help but think that maybe the Lord was planting a seed in her. I can't wait to see what the Lord does with that conversation.

On a very serious note.  We ask for prayers.  We are not able to talk about this specifically, but yesterday, on our way to the airport, we had a conference call with our case worker from the International Team along with our local case worker.  I don't want to say we had a bomb dropped on us, but we had a bomb dropped on us. Right before we are ready to travel.  Again, I am not able to talk about this but please know that our court date is still happening.  Everything is still going along 'according to plan' whatever that is.  Please continue to pray for our birth mom and for Baby T.  We are, as this blog is so named, walking in our faith.  We are 100% relying on the Lord for everything.  He is our strong tower.  He is our refuge and strength.  He has and will continue to equip us. He is our shelter in the storm.  Thank you for praying....just ask the Holy Spirit to intercede and pray the specifics that we need...He will do that.

Tomorrow is church at my parents church...we are super excited to worship with my family before we head out.  Blessings for your evening.
