I have another post I have been working on today. It's almost done. But, it has to wait. This...this.. is more important. I do not want to let today go without writing and posting... a quick note about it but with details to follow. We have already contacted our family and close friends. They are excited with us. They have surrounded us with such love and support.
Today, our lives changed. Today, there is one less orphaned child in this world. Today, we became a family of 4. Today, we received our referral for a 7 month old baby boy. Our son was born one day after my birthday. I remember vividly standing in my bathroom texting a few friends to pray on November 24, 2010 for our referral. My aunt reminded me of my post on Dec 2, 2010.
I will write more - but I could not, no matter what, let today end without noting our son, our precious son who is loved beyond measure. His big brown eyes, and that big smile...I cannot wait to hold you and kiss you and tell you...whisper in your ear... how much I love you. You are a gift from God. We are truly blessed.
More details will follow. But let me say this...God has the plan. His timing is perfect. It is always perfect.
