Unofficial Referral

With the unofficial referral, we have been putting it in high gear to make sure the dossier is complete. We will have to wait one more week before it gets to the International Office (home office) of Bethany. Our case worker is going to be out of the office for a week. :( I was disappointed, but not like I had been in the past - this time, I rested in the delay - this is all God's time. (I think He just flashed a huge smile...Yes, Lord, I get it. I finally get it!!)

Good news - we have my NE state sealed birth certificate in hand, and the marriage license is in Tallahassee - it arrived yesterday, (8/21/10), so we should have it back this next week - allowing me time to photocopy the entire dossier and wait for August 31 to roll around when I will meet with the local agency and hand off the dossier.

So in the meantime, we have been praying for this sweet baby boy that I can't tell you much about right now. We haven't heard anything more yet...but then again, our case worker is not in the office this week. I have this strange amount of PEACE...I am trying to discern if it's just second time around the adoption block peace - knowing how things work, or if this is just a God given peace that this little one could very well be a part of our family and we just have to wait for the paperwork to get done. I don't know...but I am comfortable...and at peace! Thank you, Jesus!
