Bump in the Road

We hit a bump in the road - but thankfully (hopefully), it is just a minor bump. We are anxious right now...I went to the mailbox again today with great hopes...instead I found a bill, a Lowe's ad, a postcard and a catalog for Crate and Barrel. So, I logged onto my email and sent an inquiry email to USCIS. I received a response...actually two responses. The first was an apology for the delay; there is a transition of all field office files into their office and they are backed up and overloaded. We would be processed in the order in which we were received. OK, well, at least that was something.

The second email was, "I went ahead and completed the review of your file. I seem to have everything but ___________." To protect the innocent (ummm...that would be WB), I will leave out what is missing. All we have to do is write this letter, fax it in and PRAY that the review is approved. So, Will will do said missing piece tonight, prepare it for faxing, and do so in the morning.

Please cover us in prayer for this missing piece. It's a not so big thing, but it is a big thing. Please pray for protection of our file as it is completed and as the I-171H makes its way to our mailbox. Just prayers for peace, protection, mercy and love from our sovereign God. Thank you!

Thank you dear God for hearing our prayers - for moving the heart of the USCIS officer who is working on our file to go ahead and review our petition and paperwork and move us ahead. Thank you for showing us you are in control and that you are in this and that this is all you. You equipped me today to be proactive and you also gave me peace for my anxious heart. To You be all the glory, honor and praise!
